Food Establishment Inspections

In an effort to increase awareness and improve services for the citizens of Mineral County, the Mineral County Health Department will publish Food Establishment Inspection Scores.  The scores will be published to this website on a quarterly basis and remain here for a reference.  Critical Violations are listed and accompanied by the corresponding WV Food Code Reference.  Critical violations are conditions that have the potential of causing a foodborne illness.  Normally, the smaller food establishments, such as mini marts and taverns, will have fewer critical violations due to the small volume of food preparation.  Larger establishments, on the other hand, have a bigger potential for critical violations due to the higher volume of food preparation. If you have any questions, please contact us.

***We are currently switching to an electronic environmental health records system. Some establishments have multiple inspections for Food and/or Retail permits. The transition should be completed with current inspections by December 31st, 2024***
